Where do I find activities and meet other people?
For people who have grown old suffering from an illness or disability it is more difficult to get in contact with others and to live a self-determined life.
Our services provided for seniors in Bielefeld help you to find activities and contacts suitable to your needs. At several locations you find not only people with similar interests but also advice and support.
Some of the many offers we provide are:
- Community centres: Courses, culture, contacts and socializing at three locations in Bielefeld-Mitte, Gadderbaum and Stieghorst
- Mobile Seniorarbeit Dornberg: Socializing and advice in Dornberg and surrounding community
- ZWAR Group: Support for the transition period between work life and retirement
- Mentors for leisure time: working in groups at the community centres Kreuzstrasse
- for the organisation of leisure time and daily schedules for elderly men and women
- with mental or psychological disabilities.
The focus of the services provided are always the individual wants and needs of the participants.
