For the Elderly

My dependant suffers from dementia. What do I do now?

Being diagnosed with dementia leaves those concerned and their dependants in a new and uncertain situation. What will happen now, how will we go on? What can dependants do themselves and where are the limits?

There are specific needs, uncertainties and open questions that need to be considered now and dealt with.  We will support you in such challenging situations and help you with counselling and respite services:

  • Advice: Answers from professionals to questions regarding nursing, care aids and nursing tools, issues regarding finance, age- and disability-appropriate living
  • Care groups “Am Kleinbahnhof” in Bielefeld-Schildesche: fully accessible “barrier-free “new building with 24/7 care provided by the Diakonie station Nord
  • Leisure time offers at the community centres and the Mobile Seniorenarbeit Dornberg

All service offers focus on the wants and needs of you and your dependant. Together we will look for an individual and suitable solution.
